About the Role

Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria invites qualified academics to join our Department of Accounting as a Lecturer II. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in accounting courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with international accounting standards and best practices
  • Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
  • Supervise student projects, examinations, and academic assessments
  • Mentor junior faculty and contribute to departmental academic development
  • Participate in university committees and institutional governance
  • Engage in community outreach and industry collaboration initiatives

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related discipline, OR Master's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 scholarly journal publications
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at a recognized tertiary institution
  • Strong command of accounting theory, practice, and contemporary industry applications
  • Proven research capability and publication record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
