About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria invites qualified academics to join our Department of Accounting as a Lecturer II. Established in 2021 as Africa's first Indian university, MIU combines world-class pedagogical standards with practical relevance to Nigeria's dynamic business environment. Located on a modern campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State, along the FCT-Abuja corridor, we are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and approved by the Federal Executive Council.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in accounting courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with international accounting standards and best practices
- Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Supervise student projects, examinations, and academic assessments
- Mentor junior faculty and contribute to departmental academic development
- Participate in university committees and institutional governance
- Engage in community outreach and industry collaboration initiatives
- Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related discipline, OR Master's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 scholarly journal publications
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at a recognized tertiary institution
- Strong command of accounting theory, practice, and contemporary industry applications
- Proven research capability and publication record
