Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Urban and Regional Planning.
  • Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and studio works.
  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
  • Engage in community service and professional outreach related to urban planning and sustainable development.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Ph.D. Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in reputable national and international journals.
  • Strong commitment to upholding Christian values and moral standards in teaching and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
