About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU), Ibadan, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Lecturer I in Software Engineering. Licensed by the National Universities Commission in 2016, KDU is dedicated to academic excellence, innovative research, and moral development. We are looking for a passionate educator to join our faculty for the 2026/2027 academic session and contribute to our rapidly growing Department of Software Engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Software Engineering and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise student research projects, practical laboratory sessions, and academic dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives aligned with the university's mission.
- Must possess a PhD degree in Software Engineering or a closely relevant computing field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust portfolio of scholarly publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT and the ability to leverage digital tools for modern pedagogy.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
