Federal University Lafia, established in 2011 to expand access to quality tertiary education, is seeking a dedicated and experienced academic professional to join our prestigious institution as a Lecturer I in Radiography. Located in the heart of Nasarawa State, our university is rapidly expanding its academic footprint, currently offering numerous undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through our well-established faculties and College of Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical training, and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Radiography.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical postings, and dissertations at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee meetings.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to students within the Department of Radiography.
- Engage in community outreach programmes and collaborate with healthcare institutions to advance radiological practices.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree in Radiography or a relevant field from a recognized institution, with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience and at least two (2) published journal articles.
- Alternatively, applicants with a Ph.D. accompanied by valid professional registration and two (2) published journal articles will be considered.
- Candidates holding a Master's degree must possess at least six (6) years of teaching experience and five (5) journal articles, with a minimum of three (3) already published.
