The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a premier federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and scholarly Lecturer I to join our esteemed Department of Nursing Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Public Health and related subjects within the Department of Nursing Sciences.
- Conduct high-impact research, contributing to peer-reviewed journals and advancing the academic profile of the university.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide academic committees.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance to foster professional growth and ethical standards.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree plus a minimum of three (3) years of tertiary teaching experience.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) quality peer-reviewed academic publications.
- A basic qualification of a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division; or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Demonstrated expertise in Public Health, Nursing Sciences, or closely related disciplines.
