About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the pioneering Indian university established in West Africa, is seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer I in Public Health. Located strategically along the Abuja-Nasarawa corridor in Masaka, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in public health courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update curriculum content in line with NUC guidelines and contemporary global public health standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed, reputable journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional and personal growth.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Public Health or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching and academic experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A strong publication record comprising at least 5 scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a student-centric learning environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
