We are currently looking for a qualified professional to fill the role of Lecturer I in Public Health to drive excellence in our teaching, student mentorship, and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Public Health and related disciplines.
- Design, update, and develop comprehensive curriculum content that aligns with NUC standards and global best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor students academically and professionally to ensure holistic student development and success.
- Engage in community outreach programs and public health advocacy initiatives representing the university.
- Must hold a PhD in Public Health or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of academic publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Previous teaching and research experience at the university level will be a distinct advantage.
