About the Role

EIDU is seeking a passionate and driven Education Officer to join our team in Niger. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing education across public and private schools through the successful rollout of innovative digital learning programs. By collaborating closely with government stakeholders, teachers, and school administrators, you will help bridge the educational gap and foster measurable improvements in student learning outcomes across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate comprehensive teacher training, onboarding, and continuous support to ensure the successful implementation of EIDU Digital Learning Programs across schools.
  • Train school staff and government education officers on leveraging the EIDU Field App and dashboards for efficient planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with state-level government education officials to advocate for impactful teacher training initiatives.
  • Conduct regular school visits to observe program implementation, provide actionable feedback, and support educators in achieving superior academic results.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on training sessions, field activities, and school visits while upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and child protection.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in training and 2 years in team management.
  • Strong ICT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems, and Android smartphones.
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles, mentorship, and coaching.
  • Exceptional communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in local languages such as Hausa.
  • Proven community leadership experience with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
