As a Lecturer I in Paediatrics within the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional medical education, conducting groundbreaking research, and providing exemplary clinical training to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Paediatrics for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical training, and provide proactive academic mentorship.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Engage in clinical duties and community service as required by the institution and affiliated teaching hospitals.
- Possess an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized institution.
- Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for the Lecturer I rank.
- Demonstrate a strong background in teaching, research, clinical practice, and scholarly activities.
- Provide verifiable evidence of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Maintain current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
