We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer I in Medical Microbiology to join the Paul Odili College of Medicine within our Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences at our River Park Estate, Lugbe, Abuja (FCT) campus. Key Responsibilities- Engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Medical Microbiology and related disciplines.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in clinical training, departmental administration, and academic service.
- Mentor students and junior academic staff to foster professional and ethical medical practice.
- Contribute to curriculum development and university-wide academic initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across teaching hospitals and research institutes on joint projects.
- MBBS or BDS as a First Degree from a recognized institution.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate to the Lecturer I rank.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank sought.
- Evidence of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and a valid practising licence.
- Strong capacity for teaching, academic research, mentorship, and institutional service.
- All qualifications must be fully verifiable from recognized institutions. Retired academics and consultants are also encouraged to apply.
