About the Role

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer I to join our esteemed Department of Mechatronics Engineering. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Mechatronics Engineering and related disciplines.

  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a First Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division. Candidates with a Second-Class Lower Division must hold a PhD.
  • Must possess a PhD or a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
