Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Human Kinetics and Sports Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review curricula in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and modern pedagogical practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties as assigned.
- Engage in community service initiatives and professional outreach programs related to sports development and public health.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to foster both intellectual and personal growth.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Human Kinetics, Sports Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of tertiary-level teaching and research experience.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division, OR a Second Class Lower Division coupled with a PhD.
- Demonstrated ability to use modern educational technology and learning management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
