About the Role

Located in Benin City, Edo State, our College of Medicine is currently expanding its academic capacity and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer I in Human Anatomy. In this role, you will contribute significantly to academic excellence, innovative research, and the holistic development of our medical students within a supportive Christian environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Human Anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise student research projects, practical laboratories, and academic mentorship activities.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum content in line with NUC guidelines and global best practices.
- Conduct cutting-edge research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and attract research grants.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain active professional registration and adhere to the ethical standards of the institution.
- Must possess a PhD in Human Anatomy or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- At least three (3) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing academic research, relevant publications in reputable journals, and competence in student supervision.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern pedagogical delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills with a passion for academic mentorship.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
