We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Lecturer I (Histopathology) within the Paul Odili College of Medicine, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, located at our River Park Estate campus in Lugbe, Abuja (FCT). Key Responsibilities- Conduct engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Histopathology.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, student assessment, and academic mentorship.
- Engage in high-impact research, scholarly activities, and publishing in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide clinical training and participate in medical services as required by the University and affiliated teaching hospitals.
- Contribute to departmental administration, committee work, and overall academic service.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized institution.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for the Lecturer I rank.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Evidence of quality publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and a valid practising licence.
- Strong capacity for academic teaching, research supervision, mentorship, and institutional service.
- All academic and professional qualifications must be fully verifiable.
