Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria, a reputable private conventional university established in 2005, is seeking a dedicated and academically sound professional for the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Nursing Administration/Management and Nursing Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Nursing Administration, Management, and Nursing Education.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical practices, and academic dissertations at various levels.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed, reputable local and international journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic committee assignments.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and career guidance to nursing students.
- Collaborate with professional nursing bodies and healthcare institutions to enhance practical training and community outreach programs.
- Must hold a Ph.D. degree in Nursing or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and reputable university.
- Demonstrated evidence of strong scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Must possess valid registration and current practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Active membership in relevant professional healthcare and nursing bodies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills with a passion for student mentorship.
