About the Role
Vision University, a dynamic and fast-growing private, faith-based institution in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and scholarly professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer I in Cyber Security. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing disciplines.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum courses in line with NUC guidelines and current industry standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, student dissertations, and academic internships.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and publish scholarly articles in reputable academic journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, as well as community service initiatives.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level.
- Provide verifiable evidence of relevant scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and digital literacy skills.
