We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic professional to fill the position of Lecturer I in Cyber Security for the upcoming 2026/2027 Academic Session. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing disciplines to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and academic research activities.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to foster professional growth and ethical standards in cybersecurity.
- Engage in community service and collaborative academic partnerships that enhance the visibility and reputation of the university.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related relevant field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A strong portfolio of scholarly publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Proficiency in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools and cybersecurity software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills suited for an academic environment.
