Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Engineering.
  • Develop, update, and review curricula to reflect current industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
  • Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participate in academic conferences.
  • Provide academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance to students to foster their holistic development.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and accreditation exercises.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related and relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated track record of academic research and publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Prior teaching experience at the tertiary education level is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Membership in relevant professional engineering bodies such as COREN is highly desirable.
