Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Biochemistry.
- Design, update, and develop comprehensive course curricula in line with NUC guidelines and modern industry standards.
- Conduct cutting-edge research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively contribute to the university's academic reputation.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic fieldworks.
- Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and career guidance to students to ensure holistic development and success.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Must be a PhD holder in Biochemistry or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and academic research at the university level.
- A strong track record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
