We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer I in Anatomy to join the esteemed faculty at the Paul Odili College of Medicine, located in River Park Estate, Lugbe, Abuja (FCT). This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced academic to contribute to high-quality medical education, rigorous research, and student mentorship within our Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Anatomy.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, clinical training, and academic administration.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic mentorship, counseling, and career guidance to medical and allied health students.
- Engage in departmental committees, community service, and other academic responsibilities assigned by the University.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized institution.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for the rank of Lecturer I.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank.
- Evidence of strong academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
- Proven capacity for effective teaching, research, student mentorship, and academic service.
- All academic and professional qualifications must be fully verifiable and from recognized institutions.
