About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and dynamic Lecturer I to join our Department of Education within the Faculty of Education, specializing in Adult and Non-Formal Education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Adult and Non-Formal Education.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee meetings.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to support their professional and personal growth.
- Engage in community outreach programs related to adult literacy and lifelong learning initiatives.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Adult and Non-Formal Education or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
- First degree must be not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
