Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate accounting courses.
- Conduct high-impact, original research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and provide holistic academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula in line with contemporary industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service initiatives and foster academic partnerships with professional bodies and industry stakeholders.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Accounting or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-doctoral experience in teaching, research, and academic administration.
- A strong portfolio of scholarly publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT with the ability to leverage digital tools for teaching, research, and remote learning management.
- Membership in relevant professional accounting bodies (e.g., ICAN, ANAN) will be an added advantage.
- Competitive remuneration structured on the KDUTSS 04 scale, comparable to federal university standards in Nigeria.
