Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Physiology to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, curricula, and assessment methods in line with modern educational standards.
- Supervise student research projects, academic assignments, and laboratory activities.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee works, and university-wide accreditation exercises.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
- Possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physiology or a closely related medical science discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and academic research at the tertiary level.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies is highly desirable.
