We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer Grade I to join our vibrant Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Develop, update, and review course curricula in alignment with current industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and research activities.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek grant funding.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to the academic administration and community service initiatives of the institution.
- Mentor and advise students on academic performance, career paths, and professional development.
- Possess a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated relevant teaching and academic experience at the university level, with a strong record of scholarly publications.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies such as COREN is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a passion for student success.
- Ability to utilize modern educational technologies and learning management systems for effective teaching and assessment.
