We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer in Accounting to join our esteemed faculty in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various accounting disciplines to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials in line with current academic and industry standards.
- Design, administer, and grade examinations, quizzes, and assignments to assess student performance fairly.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to support their personal and professional growth.
- Conduct impactful research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic reputation of the university.
- Participate in department meetings, university committees, and accreditation processes as required.
- Possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university (Ph.D. or professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or ANAN is a strong advantage).
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, lecturing, or academic research within a tertiary institution.
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and taxation principles.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
