About the Role
Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited is looking for a dynamic and driven Lead Production Technologist to join our Production Engineering team in the Niger Delta. Operating the flagship OML 30 asset, we are committed to unlocking value in underappreciated basins while championing sustainable energy practices across Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with top industry specialists to maximize well potentials, ensure well integrity, and drive production optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Solve complex well problems independently and design robust intervention programs for wireline and coiled tubing operations.
- Utilize Prosper for advanced well modeling, calibration, prediction, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage integrated production models spanning reservoirs and flowlines to optimize overall production and reserves.
- Supervise field operations, including well testing, surveillance programs, bottom-hole pressure (BHP) logging, and fluid sampling.
- Design, execute, and optimize artificial lift systems such as gas lift and Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs).
- Mentor junior engineers, share technical knowledge, and lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Champion stringent health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) standards across all well management activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to Production Technology (PT).
- Demonstrated expertise in well modeling, sand control, completion design, and well integrity management.
