Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, contracts, property management, regulations, taxation, and labour matters.
- Negotiate, draft, review, and finalize a wide range of commercial contracts and company policy documents.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business transactions while advising leadership on contract status and liabilities.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, managing statutory filings, meetings, internal training, and relevant legal remittances.
- Conduct thorough legal research to deliver actionable solutions and robust legal protection for the company and its officers.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes and evolving regulatory frameworks impacting the Nigerian aviation and corporate sectors.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and valid certification from the Nigerian Law School.
- 5 to 7 years of proven work experience within a commercial, corporate, or regulatory legal environment.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA, LL.M, or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Prior legal experience within the aviation industry is highly desirable.
- Exceptional expertise in corporate law, legal drafting, contract negotiation, and attention to detail.
