We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Lead Instrumentation & Controls Assurance Consultant to join our growing team in Nigeria and drive excellence across major industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Instrumentation & Controls Assurance Consultant, you will provide critical technical oversight and assurance for complex systems. Your core duties will include:

  • Overseeing field instrumentation, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and SCADA systems.
  • Ensuring compliance and reliability of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).
  • Monitoring control valves, process analyzers, and managing control-loop testing and commissioning.
  • Conducting rigorous functional safety testing and instrumentation assurance.
  • Leading technical and assurance teams within EPC/EPCM, Owner's Engineer, or Third-Party Inspection environments.
  • Verifying contractor progress, ensuring quality assurance, and managing risk identification and documentation processes.
Qualifications

To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including leadership in industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, or power projects.
  • Relevant professional registration or chartered status, such as COREN, CEng, PE, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of technical auditing, construction supervision, and quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills with high professional integrity.
  • Ability and willingness to work in Nigeria for the duration of the assignment.
