We are seeking an exceptional Lead Consultant Radiologist to spearhead our radiology department and ensure the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient advocacy.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret complex imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and PET/CT to diagnose medical conditions and track disease progression accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports, correlating imaging findings with patient history, symptoms, and laboratory results.
- Provide expert clinical guidance on advanced imaging protocols and techniques to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Guide precise interventional radiological procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular interventions.
- Lead clinical research initiatives, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and mentor junior medical staff and resident doctors.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop personalized, patient-centric treatment plans.
- Medical Degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license and registration with relevant regulatory bodies.
- Fellowship in Radiology (e.g., NPMCN, WACS, or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 10 years of post-specialty qualification experience at a Consultant level in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
- Active membership in professional bodies such as the Association of Radiologists in Nigeria (ARIN).
- Proven expertise in advanced imaging techniques including MRI, CT, and PET.
