About the Role
Moniepoint is a premier financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a talented Lead, Channels and Audit Analytics to join our Internal Audit department and help safeguard our expanding digital products and payment channels.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end risk-based audits across digital channels, payment products, customer onboarding, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Design and execute advanced audit analytics, continuous monitoring routines, and data-driven procedures using SQL, Python, Power BI, and Superset.
- Assess enterprise risks, track risk performance metrics, and proactively identify control failures, fraud indicators, and operational inefficiencies.
- Review audit workpapers and produce clear, high-impact audit reports with practical recommendations for executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams while coaching junior audit associates.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, data analytics, or technology risk management within financial services or fintech.
- Must hold at least one recognized professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE.
- Deep domain expertise in digital banking ecosystems, payment systems, APIs, and mobile applications.
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, data interrogation tools, and statistical analysis.
