About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for an experienced and driven Lead, Channels and Audit Analytics to join our Internal Audit department and enhance assurance across our digital products and payment platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end risk-based audits across digital channels, payment products, customer onboarding journeys, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Design and execute advanced audit analytics, continuous monitoring routines, and data-driven procedures using SQL, Python, Power BI, and Superset to detect emerging risks and fraud indicators.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments for digital ecosystems, evaluating control effectiveness, transaction integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Review audit workpapers and prepare impactful reports with actionable recommendations to strengthen governance and internal controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams while coaching and mentoring junior audit team members in digital auditing techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Internal Audit, Audit Analytics, Technology Audit, or Risk Management within fintech or financial services.
- Must hold at least one professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE.
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL scripting and analytical tools like Python, Power BI, Metabase, and Superset.
