We are currently seeking a dynamic, diligent, and knowledgeable Lawyer to join our growing legal team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence and title searches on landed properties to ensure absolute authenticity and freedom from encumbrances.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate contracts, deeds of assignment, leases, and partnership agreements.
- Represent the company in land dispute resolutions, negotiations, and liaison with relevant government land registries and regulatory bodies.
- Advise management on legal risks associated with real estate development, property acquisition, and corporate governance.
- Maintain proper documentation of all land titles, case files, and legal correspondence.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university and a Barrister at Law (B.L) certification from the Nigerian Law School.
- Active membership in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) with a valid practicing license.
- Demonstrated experience in property law, land documentation, and corporate legal practice within the Nigerian real estate sector.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
