Key Responsibilities- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, weigh, and inspect all incoming laundry items for stains, damages, or foreign objects.
- Apply appropriate stain removal techniques and chemical treatments according to fabric types.
- Fold, hang, and neatly package clean linens, towels, and staff uniforms for distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate daily logs of all laundered items and report any equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department to ensure a steady supply of fresh linens for daily hotel operations.
- Interested candidates should possess a minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience working in a laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality environment is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle lifting tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Residency in or around Nnewi, Anambra State, or a willingness to commute reliably.
