About the Role
Blu Atlantic Hotel, a premier luxury destination located in the heart of Lekki, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our professional housekeeping team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction by ensuring all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments are immaculately processed and presented.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms, and guest laundry with utmost care.
- Operate commercial laundry machinery, washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Thoroughly inspect all laundered items for stains, tears, or wear, promptly reporting any damaged goods to management.
- Handle guest laundry requests professionally and in strict compliance with hotel security and privacy policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laundry work area at all times.
- Monitor chemical and detergent inventory levels, notifying supervisors when supplies require reordering.
- Assist the housekeeping department with routine linen inventory counts, stock rotation, and proper storage.
- Proven work experience as a Laundry Personnel, Housekeeper, or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry operations and textile care instructions.
- Exceptional physical stamina, with the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift heavy laundry loads.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining immaculate hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
