About the Role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Officer to join our hospitality team in providing clean and comfortable accommodations for our esteemed guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for all hotel linens, guest laundry, and staff uniforms, playing a vital role in our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, sort, and process soiled linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Treat stains and inspect items for damage before and after cleaning, reporting any issues to management.
- Fold, stack, and store cleaned items neatly, ensuring prompt delivery to the appropriate hotel departments.
- Maintain proper inventory of linens and laundry supplies, notifying management promptly when stock runs low.
- Ensure that the laundry workspace is kept clean, organized, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Handle special guest requests regarding laundry services with professionalism and a customer-first attitude.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in professional laundry operations, preferably within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial laundry equipment, washing techniques, and cleaning chemicals.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended work periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a high commitment to maintaining quality presentation standards.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
