About the Role
Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality consultancy and recruitment firm in Nigeria, is partnering with Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited to recruit a passionate and skilled Laundry Attendant. Located along Ring Road, Ibadan, our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining top-tier operational standards. We are looking for an industrious professional who takes pride in maintaining immaculate linens, uniforms, and guest garments.
Key Responsibilities- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Inspect all linens, towels, and guest clothing for stains, damage, or wear and tear before processing.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to established hotel standards and fabric care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the laundry facility.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or inventory shortages to management.
- Handle guest laundry requests with utmost professionalism, ensuring accurate tagging, timely delivery, and excellent customer service.
- Manage the distribution of clean linens to various departments as required.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or relevant certification in hospitality or related fields.
- Proven working experience as a laundry attendant or in a similar housekeeping role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, chemical usage, and modern laundry operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Residency in Ibadan (Ring Road axis or environs) is an added advantage.
