About the Role
Tojum Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited, located in Ibadan, Oyo State. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every visitor enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to established hospitality standards.
- Change bed linens, replenish guest amenities, and ensure towels and toiletries are neatly arranged.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to management.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linen and uniforms.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally and with a welcoming attitude.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or relevant certification in hospitality management or related fields.
- Proven professional experience working as a Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or in a similar cleaning role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper sanitization techniques, and equipment handling.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
