About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Lagging Foreman to join our dynamic operations in Numan, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of thermal insulation and cladding systems, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and asset protection across our manufacturing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the installation, repair, maintenance, and removal of thermal and acoustic insulation on pipes, boilers, vessels, ductwork, and turbines to minimize heat loss.
- Oversee the fabrication and installation of aluminum, galvanized steel, and stainless steel cladding materials.
- Accurately measure, cut, shape, and fit various insulation materials during routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Collaborate closely with the broader maintenance team during plant shutdowns and major overhauls to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Enforce strict workplace safety standards, maintain excellent housekeeping, and ensure the safe disposal of insulation waste.
- Lead, mentor, and manage on-site technical personnel to foster high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Hold a Trade Test Certificate (TTS) or any other relevant professional certification in lagging or mechanical insulation.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on lagging and insulation experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.
