About the Role
Fortics Lifecare Limited is recruiting a qualified, experienced, and passionate Laboratory Technician for its new hospital centre located in Agric, Ikorodu, Lagos State. We are seeking a competent professional committed to excellent patient care, teamwork, and service delivery. Please note that applicants must reside within Mile 12, Agric, Ikorodu, and surrounding areas of Lagos State to meet our operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples appropriately.
- Perform laboratory investigations according to approved standard procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment effectively.
- Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely delivery of laboratory results.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, documentation, and data security.
- Follow strict infection prevention, biosafety, and quality control protocols.
- Monitor laboratory reagent and supply levels, reporting shortages promptly.
- Ensure proper handling and safe storage of biological samples and chemical reagents.
- Support internal quality assurance and compliance activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment.
- HND in Medical Laboratory Technology or a relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
- 3 to 5 years of proven post-clinical experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Valid professional registration and practicing licence where applicable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety, and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and high accuracy in reporting.
