Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain rigorous quality control measures and adhere to safety protocols within the laboratory environment.
- Process biological specimens promptly and document test results accurately in the health management system.
- Collaborate effectively with medical doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in regular audits and compliance checks mandated by regulatory health authorities.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Current AMLS Certification is strictly required.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on clinical laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and high ethical standards.
