We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our growing healthcare support team. In this vital role, you will perform accurate laboratory testing, ensure adherence to biosafety protocols, and uphold the highest standards of quality assurance to support efficient clinical workflows and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across relevant disciplines to professional standards.
- Apply strict biosafety, infection control, and quality-control standards in day-to-day practice.
- Maintain laboratory equipment readiness and report technical faults promptly.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and support seamless result reporting workflows.
- Handle biological specimens safely from receipt to analysis and disposal.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of required national internship and NYSC, or a valid exemption.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience in medical laboratory science practice (newly registered practitioners may be considered).
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Strong proficiency in specimen handling, quality control, and laboratory information systems.
