Key Responsibilities- Assist academic and technical staff in setting up and preparing laboratory equipment, chemicals, and specimens for practical classes and research experiments.
- Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and proper storage of laboratory tools, apparatus, and consumables in compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and report shortages to the appropriate departmental officers promptly.
- Support students during laboratory sessions by providing guidance on basic equipment handling and safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments under the supervision of senior laboratory technologists.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines within all university laboratory facilities.
