Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and efficiently across various clinical departments.
- Prepare biological specimens, maintain sample integrity, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Analyze test results, perform quality control checks, and report findings promptly to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and infection control protocols within the laboratory environment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all tests conducted and manage inventory of laboratory reagents and supplies.
- Possess a relevant degree, diploma, or certification in Medical Laboratory Science, Science Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
- Valid practicing license from the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Proven work experience as a Laboratory Technician in a clinical or diagnostic setting.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to patient confidentiality and care.
- Willingness to be based in either Jos (Plateau State) or Calabar (Cross River State).
