About the Role
Ekini White Tulip Consulting Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager - Pharma to join our client's team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing robust relationships with assigned key customers, including major private and public hospitals, HMOs, government institutions, MDAs, wholesalers, pharmacy chains, and corporate organizations. Your expertise will directly drive sales, achieve trade marketing objectives, and ensure sustainable profitability in the Nigerian pharmaceutical market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to achieve sales targets and trade marketing objectives within assigned portfolios.
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including major hospitals, HMOs, government institutions, and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share across various pharmaceutical retail and institutional channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, manage trade terms, and oversee account receivables effectively.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Human, Health, or Biological Sciences.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be a strong added advantage.
- 4 to 6 years of cognate experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with at least 1 to 2 years in a similar key account management position.
- Senior pharmaceutical sales representatives possessing strong commercial acumen and a verifiable trade network are also encouraged to apply.
- Self-directed, highly organized, and results-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
