Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned, and effective lessons in assigned junior secondary subjects.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson notes, instructional materials, and learning aids ahead of class.
- Assess, grade, and monitor students’ academic progress regularly to provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline, promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, school administration, and parents to support holistic student development.
- Contribute positively to the school’s academic, extracurricular, and moral objectives.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant academic discipline.
- Strong subject matter knowledge and effective pedagogical skills for secondary education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong classroom management abilities.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal abilities to work harmoniously with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented educational environment.
- Previous teaching experience or relevant school-based administrative experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Must reside in Asaba, Delta State, or be ready to relocate prior to resumption.
