The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Junior Resident to join our esteemed Paediatrics department. Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate and high-quality clinical care to paediatric patients under the supervision of senior medical consultants.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, emergency care, clinics, and departmental academic meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient histories.
- Contribute to departmental research initiatives and clinical audits.
- Participate in emergency duty rosters and on-call schedules as assigned by the department.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Must have full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Provide evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- A successful pass in the relevant primary examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African Postgraduate Medical College is an added advantage but not strictly compulsory.
