The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is a premier federal tertiary health institution dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services, medical education, and research. We are currently seeking driven and qualified medical professionals to join our esteemed Junior Residency Training Programme in Paediatrics. This comprehensive training prepares resident doctors for professional excellence and leadership in child health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care within the Paediatrics department under the supervision of consultant pediatricians.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, clinics, emergency care, and departmental meetings.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to academic publications within the field of paediatrics.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training activities required for fellowship examinations.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely and effectively.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB Degree or equivalent medical qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Must have full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Provide evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Must possess a valid and current medical practicing license.
- A pass in the relevant primary examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African Postgraduate Medical College is an added advantage but not compulsory.
