About the Role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of quality onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the oil and gas industry across Nigeria and the West African sub-region. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Associate / Contracts Lead to support our growing supply chain operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in streamlining our Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes, ensuring contract compliance, and optimizing costs while building strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes to ensure timely procurement of materials and services for onshore and offshore operations.
- Conduct strategic price negotiations and execute favorable terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings and business value.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and ensure strict compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast supply needs and resolve any procurement discrepancies promptly.
- Implement robust procurement systems and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain roles, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
