About the Role

Fortics Lifecare Limited, a trusted network of primary healthcare providers offering adjunct value-added services, is seeking a young, proactive, organized, and people-oriented Junior Human Resource Officer. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team at our new hospital center located in Agric, Ikorodu, Lagos, playing a vital role in supporting daily human resource functions, staff welfare, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Assist with seamless staff onboarding, orientation, and proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records, physical files, and digital HR databases.
  • Manage daily attendance tracking, leave requests, and staff time management records.
  • Coordinate staff communication, employee engagement initiatives, and workplace welfare activities.
  • Prepare routine HR reports, trackers, and administrative documentation.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of internal company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with performance management cycles and staff evaluation activities.
  • Handle routine employee inquiries professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Support disciplinary procedures and administrative processes as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant professional HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of foundational human resource practices, Nigerian labour standards, and documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and administrative competencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Mandatory Location Requirement: Applicants MUST reside within Mile 12, Agric, Ikorodu Garage, and surrounding areas to meet operational demands.
