About the Role
LighTech Automation Electrical Services Limited is a leader in home and industrial automation training, installation, and maintenance services. We are currently looking for a safety-conscious and responsible Junior Generator Operator to join our dynamic facility operations team in Ibeju-Lekki.

Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor industrial diesel and gas generator sets in compliance with established plant procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-start and operational checks, closely tracking key parameters such as RPM, voltage, current, load, temperature, and fuel levels.
- Perform proper start-up, synchronization, loading, unloading, and shutdown protocols.
- Execute basic operator-level troubleshooting and immediately report abnormal sounds, vibrations, alarms, or leakages.
- Maintain accurate daily logs detailing running hours, fuel consumption, and operational events.
- Assist maintenance teams during routine servicing, inspections, and emergency repairs.
- Adhere strictly to plant safety standards, including LOTO, permit-to-work guidelines, and electrical safety protocols.
- OND, NCE, or relevant vocational/trade certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Power Systems.
- 1 to 2 years of practical experience operating diesel and/or gas generators within a manufacturing, industrial, or process plant setting.
- Foundational knowledge of internal combustion engine systems and electrical concepts like voltage, current, and load.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be willing to reside in or relocate to Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
